Gussie Bradfield
"My commitment to the local recovery community is deeply personal. I have seen the impact that recovery can have on individuals, families, and the community as a whole, and I am passionate about helping create an environment where people have the opportunity to heal and build meaningful lives. That personal connection is why I am honored to serve on the board of Life, Purpose & Recovery!"
Marilyn Goff
“The leadership incubator didn't just teach me skills; it gave me a community of sisters who believe in my vision.”
Nick Jones
“This organization turns hope into action. Their support was the catalyst my small business needed to thrive.”
Eventually, I reached a place where I was able to give back. I was offered a position on the Board of Directors, and I gladly accepted. I truly believe God saw it was time for me to use my experiences and honor the place that had done so much for me and for so many others. Today, I advocate for people who are in the position I was in years ago. I get to join hands with people in our community to embrace recovery, support peer mentorship, and, most importantly, meet people where they are. I am committed to doing all I can to help the doors of LPR and Next Door stay open for the next person to walk through. If even one person‘s life has been improved through my story, then I know that my life experiences were not in vain. And the best is yet to come!
